The 30-year-old is very excited to be in the draw for the US Open in New York, posting regular updates on Instagram.
She shared a snap of her training with the caption: “It was nice to see you today US Open!!”
But she still finds some time to relax with her Instagram full of pics of her on beaches in a bikini and enjoying the occasional night out.
Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam winner, is back after serving a 15-month ban after testing positive for meldonium at the 2016 Australian Open.

The former world number one was refused a wildcard by the French Open and missed Wimbledon with a thigh injury.
But the star – ranked 147 in the world – is finally set to play her first Grand Slam.
She will wear a dress covered in Swarovski crystals and designed by French brand Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci on court.
It is a tough draw for Sharapova, who faces second seed Simona Halep, 25.
The Romanian has lost her six matches against the Russian in her career and sees it as a tough draw.
Halep said: “Of course was a little bit like, ‘How is possible again? Just first round of a Grand Slam.’ But I felt OK.”
The two-time French Open runner-up added: “It’s going to be a big challenge, first round of Grand Slam, to face her.
“She beat me six times. So maybe I will change this. We will see Monday.
“I just want to do my best, to try to win the match and of course to enjoy it. It’s a big, big match.”
When asked about the criticism surrounding Sharapova being allowed a wildcard she was tight-lipped.
She added: “The tournament decided, so they can do anything they want. Is not my position to talk about this.
“She’s coming back. She’s strong enough to come back. She has a lot of experience, and also many tournaments won so I think she’s OK.”
Sharapova faces Halep in the Arthur Ashe Stadium tonight at midnight UK time.
