Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has moved into the third round of the French Open 2021. He is competing in his first Grand Slam event after close to 500 days.
However, things have changed since the last time he competed at a Grand Slam event. Players are living in bubbles in some cities, which are subject to rules and regulations depending on the specified city.
After his match, Roger Federer spoke on the possibility of traveling along with his family on Tour. In the past, he has always been known to travel with his entourage, which includes his family and a set of coaches.

However, due to the pandemic and its effects, he has not found it ideal to have his kids along.
The 2009 French Open champion stated, “My first thought with Mirka is to get through Wimbledon and see how it feels and we go from there. Our initial goal is to get in shape for the grass-court, Wimbledon in particular. But so far so good, everything’s okay with Mirka has got things under control. The kids are not completely misbehaved yet.”

Whatever decision he takes, it will be with his wife, Mirka Federer’s consent. The situation with the pandemic differs in each city.
In Doha, the restrictions were lesser compared to Paris and other European cities. At the same time, the Swiss maestro fully supports the necessary protocols and is happy to comply with them.
