Actress Emma Watson may have starred in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but it seems she knows the perks of being a beach bum as well after her week in the Caribbean with new beau and college rugby player Matt Janney.
Watson and Janney were spotted in the Caribbean over the weekend, chilling out, maxing and relaxing all cool as the English star prepares for her trip back to Los Angeles for Jan. 12’s Golden Globes ceremony, per E! Online’s Jordana Ossad. The two, both in their early 20s, acted like two college-aged kids in love—holding hands and showing forms of lovey-dovey PDA.
“He was being a gentleman the whole time,” a source told The Mirror’s James Robertson and Christopher Bucktin. “He is clearly very much into her, but then who wouldn’t be, she is one of Hollywood’s hottest stars? They couldn’t stop giggling and smiling the whole time.”

Watson, 23, has been dating Janney since not too long after her split with William Adamowicz. The pair have been together since last month.
Janney, 21, is a fly-half for Oxford University and is considered one of the better collegiate rugby players in the world. Watson, who is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, attended Oxford for the 2011-12 academic year and was in attendance for Janney’s match on Dec. 12 against rival Cambridge.
“She doesn’t suffer fools gladly,” another source told Robertson and Bucktin this week. “But Matt’s a lovely guy, charismatic and intelligent. They make a great couple.”
The Mirror’s report notes that Janney was considered Oxford’s “most eligible bachelor” before settling down with the This Is the End star. It is unclear whether the duo will make their first public outing as a couple at Sunday’s Golden Globes, where Watson is scheduled to present an award.
No matter, here’s to hoping their relationship is one of love and openness instead of a chamber of secrets.
