Roger Federer’s large family comes with him to most tournaments and play a key role in his schedule.
Roger Federer says his family situation will play a major role in deciding how long to continue playing.
Federer and his wife Mirka have two sets of twins, who are regularly spotted at tournaments when the 20-time Grand Slam star is competing.
They were absent from his trip to China for the Shanghai Masters and exhibition match in Japan on Monday.
But they are likely to be close by next week when Federer competes in his hometown event in Basel.

The question of when Federer will finally decide to hang up his racket has been a constant topic of conversation in recent years.
However, the 38-year-old appears happy to continue playing as long as his family are happy.
In an interview with China Global Television Network in Shanghai, Federer was asked how he is able to juggle his life on tour and family.
And the Swiss credited his wife for her support and insisted his children will determine his future plans.

“I think that’s the secret to make it work,” Federer said.
“Some other players don’t have family and so forth. So it is pretty straight forward, it is fairly simple.
“When I book flight tickets, we are sometimes buying ten tickets, 25 bags, convoy of cars, everything becomes so massive and so huge, which is fun but at the same time can be draining.
“It is a huge task. My wife chips in a lot of energy and a lot of know-how because she has also done it for over 20 years.
