Tennis star Maria Sharapova, 35, has given birth to a baby boy – her and fiance Alexander Gilkes’ first child.
She shared a photo of baby Theodore with her 4.4m Instagram followers.
“Theodore VII.I.MMXXII. The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could ask for,” she wrote.
She announced her pregnancy on her birthday in April.

Perfectly matched romance
The new parents have been together since 2018, with the British businessman proposing in December 2020.
Gilkes, 42, popped the question with a AU$523,000,000 diamond engagement ring.
“I said yes from the first day we met. This was our little secret, wasn‘t it @gilkesa,” she wrote on Instagram.
Gilkes responded: “I look forward to a lifetime of loving you, and learning from you @mariasharapova.”
Sharapova won five major tennis titles before retiring in 2020.
